Change in the shareholders of “Modum-Trans”. Andrey Bokarev becomes the new shareholder of the company.


Modum-Trans” Ltd. and the co-owner of Transmashholding Group, UMMC, Kuzbassrazrezugol, Central Suburban Passenger Company and European Media Group, Andrey Bokarev have decided to join their efforts in the rail freight transport market.

Andrey Bokarev has become a shareholder of the company “Modum-Trans“, LLC, his share in the share capital amounts to 25%.

“Modum-Trans Ltd. is one of the largest independent transport companies on the Russian rail freight market. The company focuses on increasing its fleet of innovative gondola cars, optimizing transport logistics schemes and integrating information technologies. Management efficiency has enabled “Modum-Trans” LLC to enter the top 5 of the best freight rolling stock operators in the Russian Federation.

Andrey Bokarev said: “Modum-Trans’ strategy, which includes the optimization of transport schemes, integration of digital transformation and development of information technologies, has enabled the operator to become one of the leaders in the industry. Modum-Trans Ltd. was founded in 2010 and is responsible for the organization of rail freight transport on the territory of the Russian Federation, the Baltic States and other border states.

In 2019 Modum-Trans Ltd. transported about 47.5 million tons of cargo, which is 98% higher than in 2018.

The company ranks 3rd in terms of the total volume of the wagon fleet, 1st in the market in terms of innovative wagons (with a capacity of 75 tons) and 2nd in terms of the number of gondola cars.
