Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin visits the Tver Carriage Works
As part of his business trip to Tver, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin visited the Tver Carriage Works (TVZ, part of Transmashholding) where he familiarized himself with the process of assembling car interiors and examined the company’s products.
In the production control centre, the Prime Minister was introduced to the modern production technologies and existing capacities of the plant, as well as to the digital platform consisting of several components, such as the new organization of engineers and the management of the distributed factory.
Mishustin stressed the importance of the development of digitization in the industry sector and proposed to continue to finalise the projects, as well as to create scientific digitization centres on the basis of universities in order to solve complex technical problems in industry.
Mikhail Mishustin was accompanied by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Gennady Savelyev, the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, the governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya, the advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vasiliev and the President of Transmashholding Andrey Bokarev.
Tver Carriage Works is one of the largest manufacturers of single and double-deck passenger cars and electric trains in Russia.
