RailNext and Metrowagonmash-Service intend to cooperate in the field of application of machine vision algorithms in the Moscow metropolitan area.

During the visit of the TMH delegation to Kazan’s A.S. Popov Technopark, the “Innopolis” special economic zone, the two companies signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of development and application of digital technologies in the maintenance activities of Moscow metro rolling stock.

The realisation of the terms of this document will allow to optimise the maintenance processes and improve the quality and safety of transport processes.

The memorandum was signed by RailNext General Director Bulat Shafigullin and TMH Deputy General Director for Urban Transport Development Andrey Vasilyev.

In 2020 RailNext (part of the LocoTech-Signal group) started the creation of a competence centre for unmanned technologies on the territory of the special economic zone “Innopolis”.

The main objective of the centre is to introduce ctrl@vision machine vision algorithms into the organisation of unmanned metro traffic. The ctrl@vision algorithm is capable of instantly analysing huge amounts of information and making optimal decisions.

Digitalisation covers more and more areas of transport engineering and in TMH companies we use the latest developments. This also applies to the maintenance of rolling stock, so MWM-Service is already carrying out a series of service digitalisation projects in the Moscow metro. We are convinced that the cooperation with RailNext will be mutually beneficial, sustainable and promising and will allow us to expand the implementation of new technologies in our work“, – Andrey Vasilyev emphasized.
