Transmashholding is taking all necessary measures to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Following the decision of the Managing Director of JSC « Transmashholding » Kirill Lipa, the company has taken emergency measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection.
Federal, regional, and municipal authorities in Russia are taking considerable measures to prevent the spread of the virus. As a responsible employer for whom the health and well-being of its employees is a priority, Transmashholding (chaired by Andrey Bokarev) is, in turn, deploying strong protective measures.
To minimize the risk of spreading the disease, the company’s employees who can work remotely have switched to teleworking. Only a very limited number of employees who ensure the uninterrupted work of the holding company continue to come to the head office. All activities and mission travel have been suspended. Remote access to all operational services has been introduced for all employees working from home. All work meetings are conducted via secure video communication. All necessary and useful information, as well as health recommendations, are regularly sent by email.
The responsible departments of the company ensure that the presence of staff in the offices and production premises is as safe as possible. In addition, each production site takes its own anti-epidemic measures. The crisis unit for the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus that has been set up at TMH’s headquarters in Moscow ensures that all the measures announced and undertaken are permanently and rigorously implemented. Similarly, crisis units have also been set up at all TMH production sites.
Among the preventive measures adopted at Transmashholding’s production sites: regular disinfection of the premises, floor marking to help employees maintain the imposed safety distance, compulsory temperature taking, compulsory wearing of personal protective equipment, and the use of antiseptic gels made available in all premises.
Transmashholding has already spent more than 300 million rubles on personal protective equipment and antiseptic products for its employees alone, and this sum is increasing every day. For the duration of the non-working days announced on April 25 by the President of the Russian Federation, employees at all plants continued to receive salaries. All employees have kept their jobs.
