Kuzbassrazrezugol

Part of the raw materials division of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC), Kuzbassrazrezugol is the second largest coal producer in Russia. With a production volume of nearly 40 million tonnes of coal per year, the company supplies mainly the Russian market but also India as well as countries in Europe and South America.

Kuzbassrazrezugol combines long-standing know-how and cutting-edge technology: the company has worked to develop professional standards for open-pit coal mines and has deployed many innovations to improve industrial safety. With a turnover of more than 1.3 billion dollars in 2017, Kuzbassrazrezugol is considered a major player in Russian industry. Since 2002, he has been awarded more than a dozen honours and distinctions by the Russian authorities.
